What's the difference between deck shoes and boat shoes?
Boat shoes defines footwear that can handle water resistance, this is greatly because of the materials they are made with, from rubber soles to the upper leather, their design base has origins in boat use as it has a moccasin-like footwear style with a low cut and a quality rubber sole, often of a light colour but essentially non-marking aimed at avoiding slipping/squid. Their heritage as a style of their own is characterized by their nautical popular connotation via the use of deck shoes or boat shoes to define them. This shoe used by sailors has found it's way into modern footwear as a robust casual shoe. Boat Shoes are also often called Deck Shoes.
